The Hillary Rodham Clinton Global Challenges Summit

When Swansea University and Secretary Clinton decided to hold the inaugural Global Challenges Summit they knew they needed a trusted and experienced event partner to produce the event. The Summit attracted a worldwide audience of 3,000 attendees for the virtual event run over 3 days with an international and high profile line up of speakers including David Miliband, Jose Manuel Barroso, Baroness Martha Lane Fox and the Vice-Chancellor of Swansea University, Professor Paul Boyle.The objectives for the virtual conference were to promote Swansea University's research and leadership in addressing global challenges and deliver a high quality, and reliable, experience for all attendees and speakers. Event Results, partnering with Axiom Communications, are proud to be selected and produced a highly successful event.The event hosts, Swansea University, needed a fully branded, secure and robust technology solution which would support high profile nature of the event and the number of attendees. They also needed the platform to be multi-lingual with attendee registration, 2 ticket types and a marketing website. The virtual event platform needed to provide different attendee experiences based on ticket type. Premium ticket holders were able to connect with other attendees, participate in chat and audience response and visit exhibition booths. The general admission ticket holders were able to watch the live streams. All sessions needed to be available for on demand viewing within an hour of the event finishing, additionally the sessions were transcribed.The Event Results service included:

• The provision of an integrated technology solution including the interactive virtual event platform with project management throughout.
• The delivery of high quality, TV like, broadcast live streams of all the session content including title slates and lower thirds.
• Managed speaker on boarding and technical orientations and 2 studios (one digital, the other physical).
• Speaker and attendee support.
