The Rank Foundation needed to move its 1,100-member RankNet online community from a legacy system to Hivebrite with as little down time and as few complications as possible. Event Results managed the platform migration, onboarding communications and reporting so members had a stable place to reconnect across web and mobile.
Challenge
The Rank Foundation needed a safe, structured migration of RankNet from a legacy platform to Hivebrite without losing member confidence or access to the network. At the same time, pandemic restrictions meant flagship leadership programmes and annual conferences had to move online, with enough production support, Q&A handling, and communications planning to keep a dispersed community engaged.
Approach
- Managed the end-to-end Hivebrite migration, including feature configuration, security settings, data handling checks, and phased user release protocols.
- Planned segmented onboarding communications and reporting so existing members knew when to join, how to use the platform, and how engagement was changing across web and mobile.
Result
- Successfully transitioned the 1,100-member RankNet community to its new Hivebrite platform.
- Reached 672 total mobile app installs by early 2026, showing sustained adoption beyond the initial migration.
- Recorded peak engagement times of more than five minutes per session after launch.
