The BNMS's annual meeting was supported with an event app offering AI powered smart networking, custom programme overview and interactive exhibitor showcases with lead scanning.
Challenge
As the association’s premier event, the BNMS Annual Spring Meeting features over 700 attendees and a complex five-track programme over 3 days. The event app serves as a central hub for attendees and 50 exhibitor organisations, showcasing 150 posters alongside a floor plan and competitions. Efficiency was key: the app went live weeks early so exhibitors could perfect their digital presence. During the sessions, the platform drove engagement by enabling speakers to host live polls, manage Q&A, and share resources, such as reading materials and slide decks, directly with their audience.
Approach
- Developed a new custom Programme Overview (EPG style) for easier view by attendees.
- Opened the app in stages to exhibitors, then speakers and finally attendees over 6 weeks to ensure all groups onboarded in a timely fashion.
- Supported exhibitors in making the most of their digital showcases.
